Korea and ESL Lessons/Ideas
This page will be about my experiences in Korea. It will also be a spot where you can read about ESL Lessons I have used and Ideas from me and others as well. Keep checking back. I will be also posting my lessons online for you to use and download if you wish. I use OpenOffice to create all my lessons so download it if you need it. I also have to give my thanks to Alex, Virginia, Jessica, and everyone else who has helped me with lesson planning and ideas. I owe them all!
I am working at Mokpo Girls High School. I teach 17 classes a week and each class has about 30-35 students per class. No coteacher either might I add. I teach the first and second year students at the school. The third year students are far too busy focusing on getting into universities in the highly competitive Korean Education “System”. My week is pretty relaxed and I have lots of time to prepare lessons. Student ability varies per student, but most can read, write, and speak at a basic level.
